Positivism is an interpretation of the methodology of physics ballooned into a general theory of knowledge for all fields. Such a course in economics would be likely to lead to grave errors.

    I took a semester graduate level course in Mathematical Economics using dongi as the main text book, and we covered less than half of the topics in the book. However it was enough to pass the PHD prelim exam in microeconomics at my school.
